Focused
When Eric really focuses on something, he sticks his tongue out. I love the lack of self conciousness. Please, don't become aware too soon!!

Here Comes the Bride
Brian lost his wedding band a few months ago and I presented him with a new one on Valentine's Day. My friend suggested that I put my wedding gown on, just for fun. I didn't go that far, but I did bring down the veil, which Sarah loved. (Shocking, truly.) She would have worn it all day long, had we let her. She let us know that she would be wearing it to her own wedding one day. Maybe Eric will too? Thankfully, he didn't seem nearly as interested.

Snow Girl
Here's the snowgirl we made on Wednesday, after temperatures crept up enough to make the snow more agreeable. The following day, we had four(!) of Sarah's friend over, and they added a lot more color! I thought she'd be gone by now, but she's still there, granted with less hair, no eyes, nose, or arms, and a shrunken head.

Warning - Adult Content (or Not)
I look at this sign and think two things. The English major half of my brain thinks, Interesting, a road sign that explains an essential part of a story's structure. And the Beavis and Butthead half of my brain thinks, Huh, huh, that sign says climax!! Huh, huh. And high point!! Huh, huh. Now, which side of my brain compelled me to take the picture? I'll let you decide.

The Birds and the Bees
Every once in awhile, Sarah asks me where babies come from. And my answer is always the same - when two people love each other very much, sometimes they have a baby. So, with that in mind, Sarah said to me yesterday, "When you love your husband very much, a baby happens." I replied, "That's right." And then she said, "And if you love your husband very, very, very, very, very, very much, you have 483 babies." (With a grin.) Two thoughts came to mind, which were these - Sorry Brian, but I don't love you that much, and At some point, I'll need to explain things a little better.

Let It Snow
We have very much enjoyed the last three snow-filled days. In short doses, winter is full of good cold fun.
Working hard,
and playing harder.Tromping,
tracking,
